The atmosphere Jessica creates provides clients with warmth, compassion, and her reflective nature increases confidence while helping clients identify their own strengths. Specializing in anxiety, grief and loss as well as trauma, Jessica enjoys supporting clients through a variety of phases and helping them reach their goals. When people have experienced trauma, physical symptoms often manifest as well as interpersonal challenges. The approach of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) has been proven to improve people's mental and physical health while increasing engagement in life. This evidence-based practice has demonstrated effectiveness in addressing symptoms related to attachment trauma, childhood trauma, and overwhelming life events such as loss or accidents. Jessica takes a holistic approach to mental health, addressing the mind and body through an integrated therapeutic approach.
Jessica is a native Idahoan who grew up fly fishing on the waters of Idaho. She is trained in evidence-based modalities including Accetptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Internal Family Systems. With experience working with individuals going through a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, faith-transition, grief as well as divorce recovery. Jessica is adept at creating treatment plans that foster comfort and growth. Jess is dedicated to providing personalized care to each of her clients and is committed to ongoing training and education to stay current on the latest research and techniques.

The Caddis Fly is a specific type of fly that is commonly used on Idaho Rivers, it represents change and the ability to create metamorphosis. The image of a caddis fly remains an icon of fly fishing and Jessica's time on the river with her father, Old Man River Bill Jensen.
It's a casual conversation in order for the therapist and client to get acquainted with another, this way the therapist can understand the client's challenges, goals and general lifestyle.
